D-Link (TWSE code: 2332), a global leader in networking solutions, recently showcased its commitment to cybersecurity during the “Cybersecurity Seminar” organized by Nemko Taiwan. The company, recognized as the first Taiwanese networking firm to pass the European Union ETSI EN 303 645 consumer IoT network security standard, shared its practical experiences addressing global cybersecurity regulatory challenges.
Highlighting Taiwan’s ICT industry’s export orientation, D-Link’s cybersecurity team stressed the need to integrate international cybersecurity trends into product designs, guided by the “Security by Design” philosophy. Since 2014, D-Link has actively embraced international cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001 and TRUSTe, aligning itself with global standards. Internally, the company has diversified its information security measures, establishing operational document standards and inspection mechanisms.
In response to forthcoming EU consumer IoT network security requirements, D-Link launched a comprehensive project in 2022. The company optimized product development specifications for information security and provided extensive resources for relevant product development teams. In May 2023, D-Link achieved ETSI EN 303 645 certification for its AQUILA PRO AI series M30 AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 dual-band wireless router, making the first networking company in Taiwan to do so. The certification, awarded by Nemko, underscores D-Link’s long-term dedication to cybersecurity and solidifies its position as a leader in product security.
