D-Link Corporation, a global networking solutions leader, has received the “Best Practice Award” for Creative Communication Leadership at the 2024 Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA), recognizing its innovative approach to stakeholder communication and brand transformation.
Since joining the Taiwan Steel Group, D-Link has successfully revitalized its brand through strategic ESG initiatives focused on strengthening stakeholder engagement. The company has implemented several creative social engagement programs that have significantly enhanced both internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Key initiatives include the “D-Link Everlasting Donations,” a second-hand goods collection program promoting circular economy, and the ” Network Checkup & Education” project, which provides network security education to underprivileged children. The company also launched the ” D-Link Caring Passport” program, an innovative mechanism that rewards employee volunteering with cultural event tickets.
These programs have yielded remarkable results over three years: a 15.5-fold increase in resource investment, a 21.8-fold growth in employee volunteer participation, and an expansion of beneficiaries from 1,436 to 9,351 individuals. The initiatives have achieved a 94.2% satisfaction rate among social welfare organizations, while employee satisfaction with the company’s ESG performance reached 4.78 out of 5.
D-Link maintains comprehensive engagement with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and investors, through diverse communication channels. The company regularly publishes sustainability reports to address stakeholder concerns and demonstrate its commitment to balancing operational performance with social responsibility.
