D-Link Launched Advanced Cybersecurity Courses for Teens

D-Link Corporation (TWSE: 2332), a global leader in networking solutions, partnered with the Taiwan Dream Together Association this summer to expand the cybersecurity education program into more communities. For the first time, youth volunteers co-developed the curriculum and taught classes, bringing fresh perspectives that made cybersecurity topics engaging and relatable.

Between July and August, four sessions were held at northern Taiwan social welfare organizations, featuring a new advanced course for junior high school students. Covering internet addiction, digital footprints, phishing scams, and password security, the lessons combined storytelling, role-playing, and games to help students build safer online habits.

Teachers praised the program’s impact, noting students’ enthusiasm and improved awareness. D-Link plans to continue hosting three to four sessions annually, leveraging youth creativity and corporate expertise to promote digital literacy and safety, reflecting its commitment to “Leading Smart Living, Creating Sustainable Value.”
